VO: Are these all your savings?
D:  No.
     不是，那还有哪些？有什么证明材料？这些都是主动需要说出来的。
VO: I don’t think you can use all the money for your study in California. Most of your money were put into banks last November.
     VO怀疑这笔钱是借的，因为是一个短期存款！
D:  Sir, they are the time deposits transferred from other accounts. I have the interest slips. （拿了一堆利息单准备给他看）
     OK，这是一笔长期存款，可是家里的状况允许你花这些钱么？父母都退休了，他们会不会因为给你支付这笔钱而在生活上造成压力呢！
VO: I trust you. （他马上说） But your money is not convincing.
      资金的来源和投资的意义很难让人信服！
D:  But I think the money is enough. （急，要给他看父母和自己的房产证）
VO: No, I don’t want to see your Housing Ownership. Your money can not convince me, so I couldn’t give you a visa today.
D:  No, the money is enough. It is for my study.
VO: You have a good study plan. Here’ a letter for you and please read it carefully. You can come back and apply a visa again. （起身又拿了一张纸过来， 后来发现是214（b））
D:  (欲辩解，他已开始就下一位， 只好说了声) Thank you, Sir. （抱起所有材料离开签证大厅）

拒签原因：
1．资金证明不够信服（根据VO）
2．214（b） （拒签后给的两封信）

      通过签经我们不难看出，笔者在整个交流的过程中没有把握住VO的思路，只是比较单一的FOLLOW着VO的问题，并且很多问题回答的主动性上把握的不好，在VO考察的一些关键问题上没有做好突出！资金问题上解释的也比较浅。我相信，如果能够很好的说明赴美留学的目的性，以后专业的应用性和因此给自身所带来对于今后发展的帮助，那么资金部分的问题也可以迎刃而解。不过从签经判断，签证申请人似乎对签证的了解太有限，太初级了。
